We are a Bible-Believing Baptist Church, giving the World HOPE IN CHRIST.

As churches and individuals pledge their support for this project by giving of our prayers, time, and treasures, we reap the spiritual blessing together.  One church cannot accomplish this project alone.  We need the help of our associated churches.  This is a great opportunity for Missionary Baptist people to labor together (I Cor. 3:9) in the advancement of the Word of God (Ps. 126:6)

Plan now to participate by joining other Olympic Bible Project volunteers from all over the USA and abroad.  Many of our hands are needed to place the Word of God in the hands of Olympic visitors from all over the globe.  

Pray for the multitudes who will receive God’s Holy Word and for the traveling mercies and protection of the OBP participants.  Pray for the Baptists who will work with us before, during, and after the Olympic Bible Project.

Arrangements are now being made for the Bible cover designs and the printing of the scriptures for the next Olympic Bible Project.  Please send your donations to 2008 OBP, Hillcrest Baptist Church, 6069 Woodstock Road, Acworth, GA 30102.  All monies will go toward the promotion, printing, and distribution of Bibles.  Every penny of your donations will be used to advance the Gospel through the Olympic Bible Project.   If you wish your donations to go toward purchasing Bibles only, indicate “For Bibles Only” on your checks.

 Here’s how you can be a Bible Project Participant:

1.Search Your Heart.  Has God placed in your heart a burden for reaching souls through the Olympic Bible Project?  Do you have a desire to witness to people through distributing God’s Word?   The OBP provides a great opportunity for both!  As you share the Word of God, many people will want to simply know more about what the Holy Bible says.  You will have plenty of once-in-a-lifetime “divine appointments” to witness for Christ.  No doubt the Olympic Bible Project is a lot of hard work; however, we will try to schedule times for sight-seeing and an Olympic event, too!

2.Consider the Dates and Financial Commitment.    You may be able to choose to go the first week, second week, or both weeks of the Olympics.  The cost will be determined per person for one week.  A two-week stay will be more costly due to lodging and meals.  The definite amounts will be determined as airline and accommodation arrangements are made.  Previous Olympic trips have cost around $2000 per person.
