Children’s Ministry. Pre-schoolers up through sixth graders have exciting, meaningful, and fun activities each Sunday and Wednesday in addition to many events held outside church through our Junior Missionary Baptist Youth Fellowship.
Christians in Action (CIA). Our adults have a tremendous opportunity to grow spiritually through the Baptist Training Course and classes on relevant life topics every Sunday at 5:30 p.m. during August through May.
College and Career Ministry. These young adults have a great time in their own Sunday School class and participating in mission projects and fun outings on a regular basis.
Faith Bible Institute (FBI). A “Through the Bible Course” for every church member and every Christian. We are an Extension School of the Faith Bible Institute in Monroe, Louisiana, and meet on Monday nights at 6:30 p.m.
Men’s Brotherhood. Our men are very active with monthly Saturday morning breakfasts, with benevolence building projects, and with many other projects and fellowship time (including an annual fishing trip).
Missions. Matthew 28:19-20 is the motivation behind our efforts to reach the world for Christ. Mission work is a vital part of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Music Ministry. Our worship services feature a balanced blend of singing the great hymns of faith and praise and worship choruses. There are music opportunities for all ages and talents: Adult Choir, Orchestra, Senior Adult Choir, Teen Choir, or Children’s Choir as well as ensembles, solos, etc.
Nursery. From the birth of a child until that child is potty-trained, parents can count on our loving and caring nursery director and staff to provide for young children’s needs during all worship services and most special church programs.
Olympic Bible Project. Hillcrest Baptist Church sponsors a Bible distribution project during the Summer and Winter Olympics in cooperation with the Baptist Sunday School Committee, the Macedonian Missionary Service, and the Churches of the American Baptist Association.
Outreach Ministry. Weekly visitation to the homes of those who have visited, to those who are in need, to those who are prospects, and to those who live in our community as well as mass mailings and one-on-one contacts make up the Hillcrest Outreach Ministry.
Prayer Ministry. Daily prayer e-mails are distributed, the church family prayer chain is activated when needed, and our church family is encouraged to make prayer a priority.
Scouts. Three scout groups are sponsored by Hillcrest and meet on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday nights in our educational building—Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, and Adventure Scouts.
Senior Adult Ministry. Our seniors are very active in their Sunday School class, Bible study groups, The Joyful Noise Choir (lunch and practice every other Sunday), and many social activities.
Single Adult Ministry. As a church we seek to empower singles to create and engage in ministries that matter to the whole person, spiritually, physically, and emotionally. Our singles class is exciting, our social activities are fun, and our mission projects are meaningful.
Sunday School. Bible study classes are taught Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. with curriculum suitable for every age group from infants through senior adults.
Women’s Ministry. The ladies of Hillcrest endeavor to inspire every woman of the church to live a wholly dedicated life to the services of God through Bible study, prayer time, meaningful programs and events, and through helping the church and pastor in every undertaking in the Lord’s work. A highlight of the year is the Ladies weekend Retreat usually held in the Spring.
Youth Ministry. Our youth are given love and acceptance and are encouraged to grow spiritually in their walk with God. They are led with activities developed just for that critical age.
