But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.." John 4:23-24

Hillcrest Worship Ministry

Here at Hillcrest we feel that Worship has several components, singing praises to God, the Preaching of His word, Prayer, and through giving.

Worship is more than just the songs we sing in our services. It is living a lifestyle every day that is gloryfying to God. The apostle Paul tells us, "Whether you eat drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." I Cor. 10:31 In order to experience authentic corporate worship we must ensure we are living a lifestyle of worship everyday.

An ideal worship experience is where we surrender ourselves to God in total awe of who He is. It is our prayer that when we come together to worship that we engage in corporate worship that we will not get distracted by the style of a song or the tempo in which it is sung. Our prayer is that we can come together as a body of believers and worship Him in spirit and in truth as he has commanded us to in John 4:24.

What to expect at hillcrest

At Hillcrest Baptist Church we offer three opportunities for you to worship. Our 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., and 6:00 p.m. worship services incorporate a blended worship with our Worship Choir and Orchestra in leadership for a full-spectrum in worship. You will hear both current as well as traditional hymnsof our faith in a unique way that is culturally relevant to today's society. The sermon, delivered by our Pastor is relevant, creative and charging. In all of our worship services, our main focus is that you would come in and be a part of worshipping God, singing to an audience of one.
