“Praise Him, Praise Him, all ye little children…” Music is an important part of Worship here at Hillcrest Baptist Church and from the very earliest of ages, we involve children in learning to sing Praise unto our Lord. Our Cherub Choir begins at age 2-5 and our children’s Choir is ages 1st-6th grade. From classic hymns to the latest contemporary children’s music, our children’s music ministry is much more than just choir. Through drama and songs, we teach children the meaning of what they are singing and use music as a teaching tool. Our Children’s music ministry is alive and vibrant and helps set the stage for the children as they move up into teen choir on what true worship through music is all about. Come join us!
We have just begun rehearsals for our upcoming Christmas Musical to be presented in early December entitled the Christmas County Spelling Bee. The children are excited about this Production, but it is not too late to join us! Any child 1st – 6th grade is encouraged to attend and our cherub choir will also be a part of this program. Come!!
